OOTD: Greek Goddess

It was a couple days before our vacation to Texas, and we had stopped by Goodwill during lunch break to see what was up. That's the secret to good thrifting. Stopping by often and being the first person to see good things and snatch them up. It's all so very exciting.

(Well, not as exciting as Pokemon Go, but pretty exciting.)

Anyway, I had a stroke of luck that day when this Elle dress was hanging out at the end of a rack of clothes yet to be put up. XL, it said. I can usually swing an XL unless it's a junior size, so I grabbed it and headed to the fitting rooms.

It's everything I ever dreamed for in an easy sundress, honestly. It's a cool jersey knit that stretches where you need it to without clinging to your skin. The white and blue colors remind me of the Meditearannean, as I am after all fifty percent Cypriot. The little dots of orange are complete the paisely-esque pattern.

All I needed was some jewelry to complete the Greek Goddess look, so I added a Forever 21 bracelet and a new septum ring from Hot Topic. I have really been into this exotic look lately. I want to wear more jewelry and be more sparkly.

Oh, and Lucifer kept barking at the neighbor's dogs while I was shooting, so he has joined the photoshoot. That crazed look in his eyes is something else. He must have seen a squirrel - or maybe a pidgy!  (wink, wink!)
